The interesting thing about our relationship with God is that He does not ask us to trust Him blindly. As a matter of fact, from the very moment that we are first introduced to Him, He consistently works to provide both opportunities and reasons for us to trust Him. While He is worthy of our trust, He works to earn our trust.
God created us to walk with Him in fellowship and to experience the joy and fullness of life that only He can provide. Drawing near to God involves coming close to Him - just the way you wish to be with those you love. It is us learning to long for and to dwell in His presence.
God often chooses to use tough circumstances to teach us that nothing in this world compares to the relationship that we can have with Him. God wants to be wanted But when we start to long for Him above everything else, God shows us Himself in a way that otherwise we would have never known Him.
